CAO Italia

Size: 6 1/4 x 54

Appearance/Pre-light: At first glance this stogie kinda scared me, being alittle more then 6 inches it seemed that i might take atleast 2 hours to smoke it. But on the other hand, it was more cigar to love, the wrapper had almost a sweet smell to it and it had very few imperfections. Clipping the stogie was easy and the the draw was great; very smooth and it didn't have a drag to it. The pre-light draw presented abit of a sweetness with some tang mixed in as well.

Lighting/Flavors: Lighting the cigar was very easy and it never went out, but more importantly the burn was very nice. The burn surprised me because since it was a bigger ring gauge i thought that the cigar would burn too quickly on one side then the other...but i was wrong. The first 2 inches of the cigar were simply great, with an abundant amount of sweetness and earthy flavors; also with those flavors the presence of alittle spice entered into the picture. As the cigar progressed, the flavors intensified!....and the presence of spice became a bit more and more greater. I ended up stop smoking it because i had to go meet up with some friends but not until i smoked about 4 1/2 inches of it. =)

Overall: An excellent cigar that leaves you wanting more and more of it.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Lovo Figurado Rosado

Size: 6 x 60

Appearance: This cigar is truly one of a kind, it has a red wrapper and this is important because anyone who smokes cigars knows that wrappers don't NORMALLY come red. Anyway, the shape of this stogie is called Figurado, it has kind of a weird look to it almost cartoonish. The wrapper it self had no real damage to it, the veins on it were minimal and it had a very smooth feel to it.

Lighting/Flavors: After i clipped this cigar i quickly light it with my BIC lighter... ;). Having only a small foot to light (about half an inch or so), it was really easy to fire up this one. Although at first the draw was EXTREMELY hard for the first inch and a half, it quickly let up and the draw became manageable. The flavors from this cigar are really simple....SPICE!!!! But the spice wasn't over powering and the cigar also had hints of leather and earthiness to it. In the second half for the cigar it was pretty much more of the same with some tangyness to it.....(Colbypants).

Overall: This cigar is a real treat and anyone who gets there hands on one should smoke it NOW!!!!!!......the only down side of it, my lips looked red because of the wrapper.....small price to pay for a really good smoke.

Blind Tasting Cigar

Okay here it goes.....Overall a pretty good cigar, it had an easy lighting to it and the draw was a bit too tight for my liking which leads me to believe that it might be cuban, also because of the triple cap. In the beginning of the cigar i got flavors of creamy almost smooth and with a bit of spice to it but nothing over powering......i have an okay guess to what it is

w00t w00t.....GO DODGERS

The Dodgers won yesterday 2-0 against the Reds. Although the only runs in the game came in the first inning, the fans a Chavez Ravine were treated to a masterful pitch performance by Randy Wolfe. Wolfe struck out 12 batters in 7 innings pitched, and Russel Martin drove in the only runs with a 2 run single in the first. When it came down to the final 2 innings, Jonathan Broxton and Takashi Saito shut them down to preserve the win for Randy Wolfe.

(Wolfe picked up his 4th win)

(Martin knocks in the only 2 runs)

(Saito earns save #11)

Padron 1926 40th Anniversary

First i would like to thank Doc for the opportunity to smoke this stogie....he gave it to me at the California Herf

Size: 6 1/2 by 54 Natural

My first impression of the stogie was....WOW!!!!.....it was absolutely beautiful. Lighting the cigar was a breeze and the burn was dead on all the way through till the end of the cigar. The first couple of puffs were a bit strong almost bitter BUT it got a hell of alot better... It had a consistent flavor of chocolate, mocha and almost a sweetness to it, that keep getting better and better and BETTER as the cigar progressed. Toward the end of the cigar it changed to more of a fuller body but not too overpowering and it kept the rich savory flavors that it had since the beginning. I smoked it until i had about an inch left to go...even though i didn't want to stop i knew i had too...LOL

All in all it really is a treat and i was LUCKY enough to get a hold of it because without Doc i wouldn't have ever gotten my hands on one....So thank you Doc for giving this kid the chance to smoke this wonderful cigar....and i hope that whoever smokes this fine stogie has the same experience that i had.

Oliva Series G Maduro

Size: 5 x 52 Belicoso

This cigar was a good one, the draw was perfect and the burn was dead on. From the first puff to the very last one, it had to same character. It was loaded with spice, leather, and earthiness to it. BUT!!!!....It seemed to get hot very fast, and i've noticed this in Oliva cigars, although i did enjoy this stogie....i was let down by the flavors because it did change much...and i love it when stogie change flavors on me.....maybe next time.

1-5
My Score: 3 1/2

Aurora 1495

Size: Corona

This cigar is most definitely one that i wouldn't mess around with. From the first puff i was able to tell that this one was gonna be a strong one. The construction on this cigar was absolutely outstanding and the burn was as sharp as i've ever seen. It had a consistent flavor of spice, pepper and wood with small hints earth and it seemed almost sweet to me. Overall a good cigar but due to it's strong character....one that i wouldn't recommend to someone who is beginning

1-5
My Score: 3 1/2

NO!!!!!!!!

I just received an email from the MLB Shop.....my dodgers cap is currently unavailable and my order has been canceled.....=(

Zot Zot bitches!!!!

A little late because of all the excitement here in school (blackout, chaos, near riots), but this past weekend, UC Irvine's men's volleyball team defeated IPFW to win their first ever NCAA Division I National title. Finally, UCI is starting to have success nationally in sports, and that should continue this summer, as the UCI baseball team is comfortably ranked in the top 25 in all of the national polls and have a good shot at making some noise at the College World Series. Aren't college sports awesome!!!!!!

Carlos Torano Exodus

Size: Double Corona

Overall a great stogie that left me thinking about it even after i was done smoking it. It had a complex flavor and the experience of smoking this cigar was very very enjoying. It had a constant tastes of chocolate, coffee, and rich earthiness to it. Since the size was a double corona (7 x 50), it had a good draw and the cigar seemed to never end. An excellent stogie that i highly recommend for any avid cigar smoker.

Great Outting Wasted

(Wolfe struck out 8)

the dodgers lost today 6-4 to the atlanta braves, wasting a good outting by randy wolfe

(Saltalamacchia and Gonzalez celebrate the win)

Punch Habano

Overall it was a great cigar with a load of complex flavors and hints of a nice cuban earth and spice. Toward the end of the stogie it took on a peppery flavor that lingered on my palate for a long time.

i would recomend it put it is not for beginners

Family Guy
