A little late because of all the excitement here in school (blackout, chaos, near riots), but this past weekend, UC Irvine's men's volleyball team defeated IPFW to win their first ever NCAA Division I National title. Finally, UCI is starting to have success nationally in sports, and that should continue this summer, as the UCI baseball team is comfortably ranked in the top 25 in all of the national polls and have a good shot at making some noise at the College World Series. Aren't college sports awesome!!!!!!

The Dodger completely desemated the Marlins today 6 to 1. With the help of excellent pitching by Brad Penny who went 7 innings, 5 hits and struck out a career high 14 batters.

Size: Double Corona

Overall a great stogie that left me thinking about it even after i was done smoking it. It had a complex flavor and the experience of smoking this cigar was very very enjoying. It had a constant tastes of chocolate, coffee, and rich earthiness to it. Since the size was a double corona (7 x 50), it had a good draw and the cigar seemed to never end. An excellent stogie that i highly recommend for any avid cigar smoker.

1-5

My Score: a solid 5!!!!

Great Outting Wasted

(Wolfe struck out 8)

the dodgers lost today 6-4 to the atlanta braves, wasting a good outting by randy wolfe

(Saltalamacchia and Gonzalez celebrate the win)

Punch Habano

Overall it was a great cigar with a load of complex flavors and hints of a nice cuban earth and spice. Toward the end of the stogie it took on a peppery flavor that lingered on my palate for a long time.

i would recomend it put it is not for beginners

Family Guy

Diplomatico No. 2

Size: Piramid 6 x 52

Clipping/Lighting: Since this cigar was a torp, clipping was a breeze and the pre-light draw seemed a bit tight....but I've had tighter... ;). I was able to get a nice toasted burn on this cigar and i never had to re-light or do any touch ups to it.

Draw/Flavors: The draw, which was tight in the beginning, let up and it was less of a chore. The flavors that i got from this stogie can simply be described as a "cuban earth" but it did seem to be medium to full body. And it also had almost a sweetness to it.....VERY NICE!!!

Overall: A solid cigar....but with draw issues.....it only gets a 4

Opus X

Size: Opus X Belicoso XXX 4 5/8 x 49

Clipping/Lighting: Clipping this cigar was an extreme breeze and the pre-light draws that i took were simply amazing. Lighting was fairly easy except for one part of the foot that didn't want to light....but i managed to get it going.

Draw/Flavors: The draw surprised me a bit, since it was a small stogie i expected a tight draw but that wasn't the case. The draw was absolutely great, i never had to pull hard or re-light it. The main flavors that i got of this cigar were amazing, overall it was just a consistent spice(almost Cinnamon) and pepper. The flavors lasted all the way through and lingered in my throat.

Overall: This stogie deserves a 5
